We are looking for an intern to join us this summer for three months. It’s a great opportunity to gain experience in the world of PR and communications. 3-month PR internship (July-September 2021) Paid position, including 5 days of annual leave
Seven is a small communications consultancy based in London. We advise a variety of organisations – from start-ups to global businesses – on communication strategies, PR and engagement plans and protecting reputations through robust crisis management and media plans. We work in a different way to the traditional PR agency and operate as an extended part of our clients’ teams. We are focused on delivering a great client experience, rather than being distracted by new business and searching for the next big thing, and we have grown through strong recommendations. Our clients are generally purpose-led technology-focused businesses, including fintech businesses and innovation enterprises.
Seven is looking for a recent graduate or someone about to enter their final year of a degree with strong writing skills, a positive attitude and an interest in PR and communications. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in news and current affairs.
Though we aim for the role to be office based in central London, you should be comfortable working remotely given the events of the last year.
You must have strong written English and an interest in writing creatively and journalistically.
You must be comfortable and willing to pitch to journalists and deal with client queries.
You need great organisational skills and attention to detail.
You need to understand how to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or the Google equivalents.
You should be able to learn new systems quickly.
You need to be self-motivated and proactive.
You need to demonstrate your ability to undertake desk research.
