We’re hiring: Junior Account Executive, permanent position

Seven is a small communications and marketing consultancy based in London, recently named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026.

We advise a variety of organisations – from start-ups to global businesses – on communication strategies, PR and engagement plans and protecting reputations through robust crisis management and media plans. Our work also spans the wider marketing mix, including paid digital marketing and visual content creation.

We work in a different way to the traditional PR agency and operate as an extended part of our clients’ teams. Our clients are generally purpose-led technology-focused businesses, including fintech businesses and innovation enterprises.

Overview

Seven is looking for a recent graduate with strong writing skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to work in PR and marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in news and current affairs, will help create written content across digital, social, media and client materials, gaining hands on experience in a fast paced agency environment.

This is an ideal role for a recent graduate looking to build their experience and learn more about PR and storytelling.

The role is hybrid – based part time in our office in Holborn, London, and part time working from home. You will be required to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with other days as needed.

Essential skills:

  • Interest in PR, marketing or brand storytelling
  • Strong written English and an interest in writing creatively
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take feedback positively
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Interest in the news agenda

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with social media design or digital content
  • Ability to undertake desk research.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track and log media coverage across print, digital, and broadcast platforms – including via Brandwatch
  • Maintain accurate coverage logs and databases (such as CoverageBook)
  • Support preparing client-ready coverage highlight reports on a monthly basis
  • Liaise with account teams to ensure timely updates and insights

Research and Client Support

  • Assist account teams with research tasks across clients and sectors, including for new business proposals
  • Compile background notes, media lists, and competitor analysis using tools such as Roxhill
  • Use tools like Brandwatch to gather audience insights from the online landscape and monitor conversations
  • Monitor industry trends and provide relevant articles of interest on a daily basis

Office administration

  • Organise logistics for client meetings, presentations, and events
  • Supporting on arranging the office Christmas and summer parties
  • Ordering stationery and branded items
  • Supporting the MD on day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Book venues (as needed), arrange catering, and ensure all materials and technology are in place
